Kevin F. Raymond is a native Ohioan who now calls Nashville, Tennessee his home. Kevin moved to Tennessee in 1986 to work at Opryland USA, a theme park that no longer exists and was the home of American Music, when he graduated from Kent State University in Kent, Ohio with a Bachelors of Music in Music Education. Upon finding it very difficult to find a teaching position in the Nashville area, Kevin promptly decided to create a career of his own. After spending many years working at theme parks, he decided to try his hand at starting his own entertainment production company that produced and packaged entertainment to many venues of establishments such as theme parks, cruise ships, resorts, conventions, industrials, corporate events, and meetings.
Kevin has always been involved in music and theatre and still enjoys acting, singing, dancing as well as directing and choreographing musicals. Among other jobs, he is the Managing Administrator for The Larry Keeton Theatre, a dinner theatre in Nashville that is currently in its eighteenth season.
One of his largest passions is food and the art and science that goes along with it. He is an avid cook and loves preparing cuisine from around the globe. Being of Italian decent, of course, Italian foods are his favorite. You’ll often find him cooking and entertaining for his friends, catering events and teaching cooking classes and leading tasting events at his church, the Cathedral of the Incarnation in Nashville, Tennessee.
During his early years in Nashville, Kevin landed at the Cathedral of the Incarnation as his registered parish and over the course of years there, was on the RCIA team of the Cathedral. In 2012, he officially became the Director of RCIA for the Cathedral and still holds that position. Knowing that there are so many misconceptions about the Catholic Church amongst non-Catholics and Catholics alike, his love of his faith and passion for bringing people to the teachings of the Catholic Church have been a driving factor in wanting to start a podcast for many years.
